There
Take Gunflint Trail North
from Grand Marais to County Rd. 8 (Devils Track Lake
Rd.) Follow road to USFS campground on the NW side of
the lake. Trailhead is in the campground.

Loop around Devils Track
Lake, north of Grand Marais. Part on paved road, part on
state snowmobile trail, dirt road and some nice
singletrack.Start at Devil's Track Lake Campground,
going East (clockwise). follow the road around the lake
to where the North Shore State Snowmobile Trail takes
off to the west. Follow trail up and down (1 mile hill
down at the end) to Bally Creek Rd. Follow bike trail
markers to right after about 3 miles on road, then
singletrack back to campground.
For a more challenging ride, you can try this loop in
the opposite direction. Going counter-clockwise, the
hill on the North Shore State trail is a BEAR!
